Children’s Reading Event at Oak Lawn Library
Remember your favorite children’s story or fairy tale? Do you have a picture in your mind of the characters? See children’s stories come to life in a new exhibit. A coalition of artists, assembled by local artist Robb Conover, revisited their favorite story in picture form, and thirty of those works will be on display in the show “It’s All Just a Story?” at the Oak Lawn Library March 3-31.
To kick-off the exhibit, costumed characters will read fairy tales and children’s stories in a FREE event on March 10, 2012 from Noon until 3:00 p.m. Refreshments and giveaways will be provided.
The Oak Lawn Library is at 4100 Cedar Springs at the corner of Cedar Springs and Knight. For more information, contact Ray Sablack or Barbara Carr at (214) 670-1359
