Now is the best time to become a member of Oak Lawn Library Friends. You have an amazing opportunity to have your gift to OLLF matched and double the impact of your generosity. As a benefit, you will become a member of one of the finest Friends of the Library groups anywhere, and will become part of our legacy of community support.

 

DonorBridge at click here for Donor Bridge is a new online resource for non-profit supporters in North Texas. The website will allow donors to search a database of local non-profits and find comprehensive, results-oriented information.

The website launches on Wednesday, 20th May 2009. On that day ONLY, contributions made to Oak Lawn Library Friends on the DonorBridge site will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Communities Foundation of Texas and The Dallas Foundation.

Rules:

* Donations must be $25 or more to receive matching dollars

* Donations must be made by bankcard

* The maximum gift per individual is $2,500

* OLLF is eligible to receive up to $25,000 in matching funds!

 We encourage you to visit www.donorbridgetx.org on Wednesday, 20th May 2009, to make your support heard.

Here's a few things our branch can use:




$1000 will repaint the staff room (no maintenance since 1996)
$385 will provide a license to screen movies for the community
$500 is needed to repaint the study area
$500 will buy a new chair for the reading room
     (we have a legacy gift to buy some of them)
$50 will buy an audio book
$100 will underwrite a unit of
    the Mayor's Summer Reading Program
$35 will buy a hard-bound book
